Job description
The Automotive Software Engineer will build services and integrations that connect vehicle-related data, digital applications and enterprise platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Develop APIs and backend services for automotive workflows.
- Implement event-driven integrations and data contracts.
- Build automated tests and production telemetry.
- Support integration troubleshooting across multiple system owners.
- Document interface ownership and failure-handling behaviour.
Qualifications
- 4–8 years of backend, integration or platform-engineering experience.
- Strong Java, .NET or comparable backend development skills.
- Experience with APIs, messaging and distributed systems.
Preferred qualifications
- Automotive, telematics or connected-product experience.
- Kafka/MQTT and cloud-platform experience.
- High-volume event-processing experience.
